Rule of Thirds is taking your image and 

putting vertical lines on it to create a an 

obvious focus point. In image 1, the focus 

point is the flower, as shown off to the 

center of the photo. In photo 2, the focus

point is the flower on top of the un-centered 

phone. In photo 3, the focus point is the 

person standing almost centered in the 

photo.
